Tai Chi & Taiji Qigong - Paul Eason

I teach the Short Yang Form and include elements of Qigong within these classes, paying particular attention to Taiji Qigong (Shibashi) the 18 posture Qigong. Great importance is placed on meditation (mindfulness) both during our practice and in our daily lives.

Tai Chi is often spoken of as a journey, and so it is, one of discovery. Each journey is specific to the individual and I see my role (especially with improvers) as one of a signpost. I cannot make that journey for you, but can hopefully point you in the right direction along the way.

Most of my regular teaching is with the Adult Education services of Kent County Council. I hold beginners and improvers classes at venues in Faversham, and Sittingbourne.

My current commitments and projects prevent me from running my private Tai Chi classes at the moment but I have every hope that they may one day resume! These were strictly improvers only and we were able to explore Tai Chi & Qigong in some depth.

One-day workshops are occasionaly held during the warmer months, when we are able to spend the day with nature. Details of these events will be posted in the News section  when the dates are arranged.

Courses in Taiji Qigong are available at the Centre of Inner Light (Gillingham) and with Kent Adult Education (Faversham).

Introductory workshops of one day's duration are frequently held with the Adult Education services mentioned above. I am also available to give talks and demonstrations to private groups.
